Privacy Policy

Last updated:

At Quicklyzer, accessible from https://quicklyzer.com/, the privacy of our visitors is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.

1. Tools and Data Processing

Most of the tools on Quicklyzer run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. For these tools we do not upload, store or transmit your input, files or results to our servers — your data never leaves your device. Tools that must contact the internet (for example, a website status checker) say so on their page.

2. Log Files

Like most websites, we use log files. They record visits and may include the IP address, browser type, internet service provider, date and time, referring and exit pages, and the number of clicks. This information is not linked to anything that personally identifies you.

3. IP Addresses and Data Retention

We anonymise IP addresses before storing them. The last segment is replaced with zero, so 203.0.113.42 is recorded as 203.0.113.0. This keeps spam protection working while making it impossible to identify an individual device.

Detailed visit records are automatically summarised into daily totals and deleted after the retention period configured for this site. Aggregate view counts are kept, but per-visit details are discarded.

Login attempt records keep the full IP address for a short period, because this is necessary to protect the site against brute-force attacks. These records are deleted after 30 days.

If you would like any data relating to you removed, please contact us.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (such as dark mode, favorite tools and recently used tools) and your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept All" in the cookie banner.

5. Google Advertising Cookies

Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting the Google ad settings described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Third-Party Privacy Policies

This Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Please consult the privacy policies of those third parties for more information.

7. Consent

By using our website, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to our Terms of Service.
